Every number on The Farmers Desk links to its primary source — USDA NASS, USDA WAOB (WASDE), the National Weather Service, the U.S. Drought Monitor, CME, or USDA FAS. If we can't source it, we don't publish it.

We report the data and what it means for the row-crop year. We don't make buy or sell calls, and we don't pass along trade-floor rumor as analysis.

Corrections are posted on the affected article with the date and a one-line note of what changed.
